Tell us a short version of what your business is?
Virtually Together is an online business management and operations support service for service-based business owners all over Australia and New Zealand.
While the industry term is Online Business Manager, commonly used across Australia and New Zealand to describe remote, service-based support, the role I step into within each business is essentially that of a Business Operations Manager. I work internally with my clients to oversee the day-to-day operations, ensuring everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
I support professionals including real estate agents, accountants, Coaches and marketers by managing systems, processes, marketing, and strategy. This includes ongoing operational support as well as project-based work such as setting up systems, managing social media, website updates, and email marketing.
How long have you been operating and how many are in your team?
Virtually Together was established in 2023 (3 years officially in July 2026), built on over 15 years of experience across corporate and small business operations. At the moment, I operate as the primary point of contact, bringing in additional support where required depending on client needs and projects.
What are the successes and challenges of your business?
One of the biggest successes has been supporting business owners to move out of overwhelm and into a more structured, scalable way of operating. Many come to me doing everything themselves, without clear systems, and feeling constantly busy but not making meaningful progress. Supporting them to gain clarity, streamline their operations, and step into their Owner role is incredibly rewarding.
In terms of challenges, growth has required me to be intentional about capacity, boundaries, and maintaining a high level of service. Ensuring the business grows sustainably, while continuing to deliver personalised and strategic support, is always a key focus.
What were the reasons you made the move to Nexus?
I was looking for a space that offered both professionalism and genuine connection. Nexus provides a calm, considered environment that supports focus, while also creating opportunities for meaningful connection within the community.
