We’ve operated as S3F Group for eight years, building on the foundations of a business established more than 26 years ago. Today, our team of 12 works across offices in Sydney, Newcastle and Queensland, including a long‑standing team member Alan Hicking who has been with the business for 26 years. Collectively, our experience spans more than 100 years across banking, lending and business management.
Our strength lies in deep industry knowledge and the ability to simplify complex lending scenarios. We work across sectors including hospitality, childcare, healthcare, professional services and community clubs helping clients secure the right funding, restructure existing facilities and plan for long‑term growth. Like many in finance, we operate in a constantly shifting lending environment, but staying sharp, informed and proactive is what drives us.
At the core of the business are senior finance specialists Daryl Crooks and Scott Woodhouse, who bring more than 55 years of combined experience. Daryl specialises in commercial and asset finance, helping organisations scale, upgrade equipment and manage cash flow with confidence. Scott brings extensive expertise across residential, commercial and specialist industries such as pharmacy and healthcare, supported by decades of major‑bank experience and long‑standing client relationships.
