Start Me Up is a Business Development Workshop aimed at those with a burning idea they want to pursue, or those in the very early stages of a Start-up.

·      What branding you actually need at the beginning of your business journey

·      How to use all this information to do it your way

Georgia Thomas is the Principal Solicitor of Legal HQ Pty Ltd, a small firm on the NSW Central Coast dedicated to teaching and supporting small business owners. Her love for creatives, innovators and entrepreneurs is central to her workshops and presentations, which are designed with their unique needs in mind. Along with her legal qualifications, Georgia has completed post-graduate studies in business and management and writes regularly for leading small business website, Smallville.

She is also the author of several books including The Small Business Legal Toolkitlaunched in June.

Lee McCaffrey, a self-confessed Small Business junkie, graphic designer and writer, has played a role in the start-up and development of multiple businesses across a range of industries. This has given her a unique global perspective into the world of business, and particularly design and content marketing.

Now, as Lee and her husband Richard raise their young family and manage their growing portfolio of businesses, she is on a mission to share their experiences with brutal honesty, and offer some perspective on the sometimes glamorised world of entrepreneurial families.

Lee writes weekly for the Smallville business website, and is also the author of Once Upon a Time in Small Business, released at the end of April.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?

The Venue is in the Nexus Smart Hub at North Wyong and parking is available in the surrounding grounds.

Wyong is the closest railway station, and buses come past the end of Amy Close along Pacific Highway.

What’s the refund policy?

A full refund (excluding third party fees) can be made within 24hrs of your booking by messaging Bedrock Projects via their facebook page.

Refunds prior to the 23rd July will incur a 25% Administration fee.

Refunds on or after 24th July (being 7 days prior to the event) will not be issued. By this stage we have committed to catering and venue costs and have a limited opportunity to fill your spot in the workshop. However, you are welcome to transfer your ticket to someone else, by emailing their details to

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Bringing your ticket will be helpful, but not necessary.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes. We understand that plans change. If you become unavailable to attend, you can obtain a limited refund or transfer your ticket to someone else. We ask that you inform us of the change by messaging via the Bedrock Projects page or emailing Georgia Thomas on

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn’t match the person who attends?

Absolutely. Our workshops make a great gift, so you are welcome to purchase on someone elses behalf and just let us know their contact details. We usually send a pre-attendance checklist to make sure we tailor our workshops wherever possible, so it’s important that reaches the correct person.
